Startups, redesigns and other big magazine and book projects are among Margaret’s favorite editorial challenges. She excels at taking publications from big ideas to concrete finished products.
Margaret served as executive editor of the Club Managers Association of America’s quarterly Club Management magazine from 2010-2014, working withThe YGS Group and the association to set a vision, contracting industry professionals and freelance writers to serve CMAA’s mission.
Also through The YGS Group, she was senior editor of Integration Quarterly (IQ). She helped developed new DBIA association magazine in 2011 and 2012.
Other past project manager and consulting clients include: The YGS Group; The Wills Company (Haven); Content Mosaic and others.
As an editorial consultant, Margaret was part of a team that developed a new line of custom and Quest travel guides for GeoNova (formerly MapQuest Publishing). These included BargainQuest, a guide to 1,465 flea markets in the U.S.
In December 2004, 75 million racing fans were delighted to discover Mobil Travel Guide: NASCAR Travel Planner, an officially-licensed guide to the 30 cities with NASCAR-sanctioned tracks in the U.S. and Mexico. As the former executive editor of Mobil Travel Guide, Margaret developed the 512-page, full-color book in less than five months.
Margaret was editor of the 2006 edition of Chicago SHOPS, Chicago magazine’s annual bible to the city’s best shopping.
